Turning VThermo off

Previously when turning off VThermo in a zone, I belive I could turn the smartplug controlling my paneloven on/off manually. (VThermo no longer controlled the smartplug) . In the current version this is no longer possible - the plug turns of immediately after turning it on. Moving VThermo out of the zone and I can manually control the smartplug again. Is this intended behaviour, as i would expect turning Vthermo of would regain manual control.
