I am currently using Futurehome (Norway) on my cabin, but are considering to move to Homey Pro since Futurehome are moving towards a subscription-fee.
Would it be possible and easy to move my Futurehome EV-charger, the HAN-reader and the 16A puck controlling my hotwater into HomeyPro?
My “must-have” issues are:
I want the EV-charger to be closed for use until you approve by app og by keytag (the charger is placed so that it is easy for “everyone” to use it - and I do not want that
I need to have the function to keep powerusage under a certain level in order to control the net-charge (not power-cost).
The futurehome is introducing subscription based service linkand have asked all users to activate it by 26th July. Elektroimportoren is giving a 1000 NOK rebate for returning the futurehome hub and buying the homey pro link. This seems to be an opportunity for homey pro if they are able to add support for all futurehome devices esp car charger, han sensor, puck relay and smoke alarms. As per futurehome website 30,000 futurehome hubs are active. I have just bought homey pro and testing how the futurehome products work here. Till now I dont see any support for their car chargers, han sensors and smoke alarms.
Quickly jumping in here to say that we have taken over development of the official Futurehome App for Homey with one of our agencies. We have received samples of almost all missing products and will start adding those as far as its technically possible. The smoke alarms (both 230v and battery), the HAN sensor, LED dimmer, puck relay and scene switcher will all be added.
As for the car charger we are struggling as you need to first connect it to a Futurehome hub to enable Zigbee, only afterwards can it be paired to another Zigbee controller. But we are figuring that out and have asked Futurehome if Zigbee can be enabled in another way.
Certainly not! Apps in the Homey App Store are all free to use. Since the Futurehome devices simply connect locally and directly with Homey over Zigbee no subscription is required.
Tried to connect one of the smoke alarms today, but was told that this z-wave product was not integrated. It was therefore added as a regular z-wave device.
If you need more feedback on the 220v detector, feel free to ask!

Tried to connect one of them yesterday (Produkt-ID: 20). Was inkluded as a unknown z-wave device. No info about battery, alarm, etc.
Homey’s Futurehome app 1.4.0.
About the temperature from the smokedetector…Now it has always been like this with the fire alarms from Futurehome that we have that they show about 4 degrees too much. So if you can calibrate the degrees on the smoke alarms that would be very good. Futurehome never managed to do this themselves, so I assume it is not possible, but just wanted to mention it.
Another possibility might be to try factory resetting it via the FH app (or possibly turn off the power for 30 seconds to reset it).
On a side note, the FH Charge should have had NFC card support as a backup option for added ease of use. It’s surprising that after over a year since its release, Futurehome still hasn’t added support for NFC cards, which says something about the slow pace of development.
I’m also stuck trying to add the Charge to my Homey Pro. I managed to add the Setup, but when I click the “Start ZigBee pairing” it says “Aborted” on the top and Timeout, cannot find periferal.
I have an Ikea smart Plug plugged in the wall, just 3 meters from the Charge, so I would guess the Zigbee network should be allright.
The LED ring on my charge is yellow on the bottom, so it should mean no wifi, for some reason…
Quickly jumping in here as the developer of the Futurehome integration! The issue with the Charge is that it doesn’t enable Zigbee pairing by itself, and requires a specific Bluetooth command to be executed before it enables pairing mode. Within the native Futurehome Android app this is only possible when you have the Futurehome hub connected with your account and online, which is quite inconvenient (but obviously still possible if you have the hub lying around).
That’s why we’ve added the Charge Setup device. This device will connect with your Charge using Bluetooth, but because of that you will need to have your Homey on a place near enough to be able to create a connection. If a connection still cannot be made, it might help to toggle the power feed of the Charge. You can also confirm whether the Charge BLE can be found using your phone if you like. When successfully added it offers a big button that, when clicked once, should enable Zigbee pairing mode, after which you can add the Charge to Homey using the non-setup driver which brings the actual functionality. Once the Zigbee pairing has been made the Charge Setup device can be removed from your Homey.
We’re also looking into bringing the installer options to configure the grid type (TN, IT) and absolute maximum power rating option to the setup device.
