I’m wondering if anyone has been successful in integrating the Trane thermostats to Homey Pro? I’m trying to get the thermostat and Flair vents integrated to have better control over the temperatures in my house
Im looking to find out the same.
I would like to see Trane integration as well. I have a tri-zone trane system using a comfortlink xl1050 and it’s the only device in my home that homey doesn’t seem to be able to control. Home Assistant CAN control it - so I’m wondering if there is a way to get homey to control it through Home Assistant??? Are there any techy types out there with a solution?
Thanks, in advance, for any help.

Yes please! Can figure out how to get it connected either. I’ve read that HomeKit is an option but haven’t figure out how to do it. It does work in HomeAssistant with the Nexia Integration.
Sure.
Install the Home Assistant community app, and then add the “Custom device”;
This way you can create a device to your likings, and control it with Homey.
I’ll give that a try! Thanks much. ![]()
That worked - but Homey shows the heat side ridiculasly high. Can’t figure out why - but it DOES control the thermostat! So that’s a good step closer.

P.S. Thanks Peter!
Ron, I have a similar issue (heat crazy high, something like 116 degrees) so really not usable. I don’t know if this is related but I’m having a similar temp issue where a MQTT temp sensor will get changed in the Homey display from 50F(correct outside temp) to displaying 122F anytime the MQTT temp is updated.
Yes. I really wish that Homey would make an app for Trane. It’s a rather common HVAC brand. I love my Homey Pro, but there are 2 things that they REALLY need to address:
- More compatibility. Especially with rather common brands.
- Make Dashboards work on computers instead of just mobile devices. (Maybe create a PC app?)
If they’d do those 2 things, then Homey would be the clear #1 winner for Smart Homes. Otherwise, I still have to run Home Assistant along side…
