Third Reality Contact Sensor (Can not connect)

I have the ThirdReality Contact sensor, which I believe is supported via the app and I am not able to get it to connect.

I install the ThirdReality App and go to add the device through that app.
I get the pop up showing the device and telling me how to connect.

The app reads hold the reset buttons until the red light is blinking.

First, issue the red light never blinks. It just cycles blue and then back to solid red.

If I let go of the button when the light turns red it blinks blue, which I believe is pairing mode, but it will never discover the device.

I also tried to add as a generic Zigbee with no luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Please follow the device manual on how to activate pair mode.
Apps can give odd or plain rubbish advice on that subject.

This most probably means it has not been in pair mode (yet).

I did follow the manual on how to connect. It is simply press the reset button until the red light turns on release and then a blinking light appears.

Even when I do that I am not able to get it to connect.

EDIT: Well I have no idea what I did differently, but it worked this morning when I decided to try again. Followed the same process as outlined above in the case anyone else ever has this issue.
