Thinking of leaving fibaro

Hi All,

I am currently a Fibaro user. It took a long time to understand the system and deal with the issues. Yes the system worked flawlessly for 2 years.

Recently I have encountered issues where everyone is telling me a reset and re program is the only solution.

I’m considering throwing my HC3 in the bin and rolling over to homey pro.

Before I do and I’m sure there will be HC3 users here. Should I make the jump or is it the same rabbit hole with homey?

I switched from Fibaro HCL to Homey Pro 2023. I only used the Hcl to control my radiators. I never moved beyond this, because the HCL was so slow. I’m much more satisfied after moving to Homey. The only drawback with Homey is that the Fibaro thermostats seems to use a lot more battery than with HCL. With that HCL, I only had to charge them once a year, but now I have to charge them once every two months. However they are now so old, that I’m probably have to replace them in a couple of years anyway. A couple has already been replaced.

If you choose to love to Homey, you should check that all device are opp dated to the latest firmware, since Homey cannot update device firmware.
