Homey’s thermostat interface renders a single target temperature. Thermostats running heat-cool/auto range mode (Nest, Ecobee, and most US HVAC) maintain two setpoints — heat-below and cool-above. Apps can expose sub-capabilities like target_temperature.heat/.cool today, but the device UI has no combined view: ideally one climate card showing current temp plus two adjustable handles (compare Google’s Nest app: “68 • 82” on one dial). This would benefit every climate integration on the platform, not just one app.
