Does anyone have any tips about thermometers with external sensor that are supported by Homey Pro?
Battery operated with 60-90cm (2-3 feet) cable.
Preferably Zigbee or Z-Wave.
All tips appreciated!
I don’t know of any Zigbee or Z-Wave thermometers with an external probe, but these ones from Ecowitt:
But you need at least one of the following gateways:
- Ecowitt GW1100 WiFi Gateway
- Ecowitt GW1200 Weather Station Gateway IOT Ready
- Ecowitt GW2000
- Ecowitt GW3000 Ethernet and Wi-Fi Gateway with Data Storage
(don’t know if this is supported by the Homey Ecowitt App, but I guess so)

Unfortunately that solution seems (at least for me) a bit clumsy as You need a separate gateway.
My goal is to move all my 433Mhz stuff to Zigbee/Z-Wave and Matter.
