Energy management system for Homey and HA
Overview
The energy management system of Huize Tolkien is an advanced combination of Homey (for automation flows) and Home Assistant (for dashboards, visualization, and status display).
The goal is smart control of battery storage, self-consumption, grid trading, and charging based on PV production and dynamic tariffs.

Deye inverter with dongle to read the params. LifePO4 batteries with JK BMS. Solarpanels (24 with Enphase microinverter). For forecasting and some parameter reading I use a Home Assistant in a Pi 5 with integrations. The main one is Solcast which predicts the solar energy for this day and the next day.
