strugling with how to create a thermostat to switch the boiler on/off
when raising the temperature on a secure srt321 thermostat, a relais should switch on.
when the set temperature has been reached the relais should switch off.
when lowered the set temperature ofcoursw the relais should turn off and stay off untill the temperature goes below the set temperature
I use a Controllable power controller (KEMO M240)
PWM/0-10V Zigbee/Zwave/Wifi dimmer (ROBB SMARRT Zigbee 0-10V PWM dimmer)
I can set the dimmer according the output from myvsolar to put the excess power in the boiler.

Thanx Paul, but with a virtual thermostat it should also be possible to start and stop the boiler (verwarmingsketel)
problem is that I’m not sure how to create and fill the flow on the virtual thermostat
Can you read out the boiler temperature?
Hi Paul,
on the SRT321 i can read the set and the actual temperature. when setting the temperature the heating boiler (verwarmingsketel) just needs to start or to stop when desired.
it just needs to switch a relais so the boiler is set to on or to off.
Hmm I would use a smart plug. (take one that can cope with the maximum wattage of the boiler)
If
set temperature is reache dtemperature
then
Switch off boiler.
It should not make a differerence to swtch a plug or a switch. a plug is not possible because you have to switch the thermostat contact in the boiler (heating for radiators) this needs a powerfree contact. I just cant see how to make the virtual thermostat to understand that it has to respond to the SRT321 wall thermostat
