Tapo Official App not working with P125M

Apologies if this isn’t the proper way to address this. I can’t find a thread for the official Tapo app. I am trying to control some P125M plugs. I installed the official Tapo app in Homey Pro, as well as the Tapo IOS app on my iPhone. I created an account with Tapo and added my first plug, then used the Homey Pro Tapo app to add it to my devices.

I can turn the plug on and off using the device settings, but when adding to flows, the plug doesn’t respond, although it shows it is turning on/off on Homey’s device status, and the logs.

After restarting the Homey app and troubleshooting for a couple days, I finally deleted the app and added it directly to Homey Pro as a Matter device. Now the flows work fine. I don’t think I’m gaining anything by using the official Homey Pro Tapo app, so my workaround is fine for me.

As a new user to Homey Pro, I am finding the overall experience isn’t as smooth as advertised. It feels like everything is in alpha release. I’m a tinkerer and can deal with it, but it leaves my family pretty frustrated when things only sometimes work, or need constant tweaking…
