Problem connecting to Tapo app and devices. Just fails

I try to connect to the homey app Tapo. I have tried both of them and same thing. The official one I try and when I try and login it says you can close the window as it seems like it successfully logged in. Then when I go back to homey it is stuck in the loading bar and won’t connect. I have the Google mesh Wi-Fi routers if that helps anything. Otherwise I have no idea what to do. I bought like 10 light switches and I’m hoping to set it up and homey pro but I’ll be really sad if I can’t!

See if it succeeds using the my.homey.app web app.
Sometimes it gives better results.

Wondering if I should make a new post since I did get it to connect. But now there is new problem. I did try the web app and it seemed to work but now it won’t show up my devices at all once I’m logged in sadly.

I’m trying to connect the 505d dimmer devices. It’s also matter so should I just try to connect via matter? I’ve already tried connecting a matter via a Wi-Fi light bulb and it was extremely spotty and difficult and still doesn’t work. So I feel like I would prefer the app if I could.

Actually not sure if my switches are the 505d ones. The switches are from the bestbuy site. Tapo matter dimmer switches.
