Tado Tiles to Display Actual Temperature

My tado tiles diplay the set temperature on individual radiator tiles. Is there a way to either also display the actual temperature and set temperature or just the actual temperature on the tile?

Many thanks for any help

Gareth

That’s only possible with a Virtual device.

Choose “sensor“ as the device class, and check “Measured temperature“.

You can then create a Flow:

When : Tado thermostat - Temperature changed
Then : Virtual device: Set value of virtual sensor measure_temperature to

Hi Sven, thank you for this. Have been trying get this to work but the “Then” card always fails. Should the be a qualifer in the “Value” field?

Assuming I can solve this issue is there a way to do one flow for all my Tado radiators (I have 190) or will I have to create 19 separate flows.

Again many thanks for your help

Gareth

The Value field should contain the tag from the Tado thermostat. The capability is measure_temperature

You would need 19 virtual devices and 19 Flows. You can combine the Flows into 1 Advanced Flow.

An alternative: you can use advanced virtual devices;
These don’t need flows, and this is all you have to set (for each virtual thermostat):

It synchronises with the real temperature sensor of the selected thermostat knob.

Sorry to have to come back to you but am still having problems with this. I think the “When” is correct but for “Then” I select the sensor “Temperature” (my title) it goes to “Cards”, select “ Set (virtual sensor) to (value). Next try to add the virtual device and it automatically enters - measure_temperature - in the device box. I cannot change any of this. Thanks Gareth
