Tado or homey issue

Hi,
I just realized that my Tado X thermostats are offline since approx. 2 days. Integration is/was over Matter/Thread and fine for about 10 months. Batteries are charged, network configuration is unchanged.
While I first suspected a glitch in the Tado
SW, I looked into the matter options on my homey pro and found:

Odd enough, the homey is restarted every night at 3 am to start each day bright and clean and fresh…

But why… It’s not a windos machine…
I only restart it if absolutely necessary (like it does on it’s own with firmware updates).
