TADO Bridge

Hello everyone,

Last month I installed a Taco thermostat with a bridge.
Yesterday I rebooted the router due to difficulties with Woonveilig app.
After the reboot Tado bridge Router led keeps blinking and is off course not connected to homey anymore.
Can someone help me?

Already tried restarting router again, different cable, factory reset of Bridge. But nothing seems to work…?

If the led for Router means there is no connection with the router and is looks like it is not Homey related.
I assume also the Tado app is not able to control your devices.
Perhaps this will help: The ‘Router’ LED on the Internet Bridge is blinking, what does it mean? | Help Center

Thats correct… Little bit off topic probably.
But I can’t find anyone who could help me with this.

I had the same problem a view weeks back. He was connected to a switch. Always worked without issues and suddenly no connection.

I’m using the TP-link Deco M9 mesh system, I connected the bridge directly to one of them and it connected to the net. Switched a view day back to the old way, on the switch. Tinder if it would connect but still no connection. So I leave it connected to the M9 from now on.

Problem solved

Router restart might solve it. tado bridge seem to wait for an IP address to be assigned.

That’s the first thing I did. Still no connection

Maybe you can find something here.
And did you try to connect f.i. a laptop to the ethernet cable which is connected to the bridge? Maybe cable/ethernetport or something is off.

Ok so I solved the problem. I added the MAC address of the Tado bridge to my reserved IP adresses again. After that the bridge comes back online.

Strangly it should get the IP from the DHCP server. Don’t know why It didn’t. But problem solved for now at least.

Maybe add the MAC address tot he Reserved IP adresses on your router. That helped me at least.
