TADO app. ERROR 403 on flowcard "Set temperature" and manual change of temperature

Using TADO app in Homey for my “Smart air conditioning”. Today I discovered that TADO has changed the minimum allowed setpoint from 16 degrees to 10 degrees in thei own app on android and on the web.
And now in my homey flow I get error 403-forbidden on the card “Set temperature”. I also get an error when manually changing temperature in Homey TADO app.
I have reported this to Homey support. But I think if more people has same problem and report it to Athom, they might pick it upp quicker.

Update: Athom is now onboard and working on an final solution. As a temporary meassure try to repair app installation.

You can give the tadoZones community app a go. It can run next to Athom’s app, so no pain to test it.
This app is way more extended, and support is way quicker.
It also supports the new login procedure already.

I’m experiencing a similar problem with mij thermostats, since a couple of days. I noticed there was an update the 10th, maybe that update broke something?

Fixed issue where the “Turned on” card would randomly trigger. Fixed errors in German translations.

:white_check_mark: Done. I get the same error since a couple of days.

I got a super quick response from Atom support that fixed my issue (403 forbidden):

Select the device (Long press) → Settings → Maintenance → Try to repair

That did the trick!

That did the trick for me too :+1:

tado° is currently reworking parts of its API backend, with the updates expected to be completed by the end of March. While no major issues are anticipated during this period, an unexpected problem occurred when updating refresh tokens, leading to a 403 Forbidden error.

The good news is indeed that repairing your tado° device resolves the issue.

Thanks, it is Homey that need access to the Tado account, so the trick worked for me as well…

Perfect! Worked
