Sonoff Zigbee smart switch via Homey Bridge - doesn't work

Hi everyone
hope someone can help with this basic question.
I have a Homey Pro (early 2025 - id HY0025) with 2 Hopmey Bridges i want to use to extend Homey Network (so Homey Pro is the central element while homey Bridges are positioned .- each visible to Homey Pro at different floors). Well I have some Sonoff SmartSwitches controlling lamps at the different floors but only the devices directly connectred to the Homey Pro works well, the others shown “Timeout 1000ms” and never works.
What can i do? Homey comes without manual and instructions and my expectations were to have a sort of Mesh Homey Network to reach any corner of my house.. same as my WiFi which covers different floors through WiFi Mesh Extenders.
Can someone drive me to solution?
Thx

Which protocols do those devices use? Wifi, or zigbee?

I think reading documentation and specifications always is a better idea than just expecting things imho?

But, euhh, yes, your expectation is right for certain protocols, but NOT for zigbee+zwave.
Those protocols are IR, 433MHz and Ble.
A bridge as satellite is just your ordinairy (but quite expensive) zigbee/zwave router, pretty much like any mains powered zigbee/zwave devices.

To get a zigbee/zwave signal in all corners and floors of your home, just add enough router devices, in order for signals to be able to ‘hop’ from one to another, extending the signal range.

Can I ask more details about the device’s model that you are having issues with?
Not that I could help you, but I am planning to get some Sonoff’s R4’s by myself and your post made me worried about my brand/model choice..
