Plug state and charge state also working
busy with the RFID section
energy dashboard working so you will see a car in the garage
app is fully functional
How does one connect the SmartEVSE to homey?
Connect your Smartevse to WiFi
You can see the ip in the display of the Smartevse
Then install the app add device and set the ip in the pairing it will connect to your Smartevse
Thanks, making plans to order one. Not yet sure if I’ll buy an old EV-box, or just a cable.
Is it possible to place a link to this topic on the app-page? SmartEVSE | Homey
I will post a link on the app page
You can also order a extra KWH meter so homey will keep track of used power for charging
At the moment I don’t have a smart meter, will probably get one this year.
But can I use

to control the maximum available energy? I.e. do I actually need the Smart EVSE sensorbox?
You don’t need the sensor box when the charger is set to normal mode smart mode it will use the sensorbox because you set the max amperage of your main fuse so it will throttle down when it get close to the max of the main fuse I installed a kWh meter in the charger connected to the Smartevse for kWh reading
Override you don’t need just set is to max the cable will set the max charge current
No, I want to use smart mode, but let Homey tell the SmartEVSE what power is available.
Smart mode smart evse needs to see a kWh meter it is in the documents of Smartevse you can make a mqtt server and post the kWh data in the right topic and tell Smartevse to look at that topic and it will work I did this in the beginning and it works
Updated the app added 1 / 3 phase support with C2 contactor
Thnx i am working on a new version busy with this bug
Ik heb de App V3.1.0 ( test ) geinstalleerd , deze werkt goed , maar de actuele weergave van de override komt niet overeen met de waarde op de ESVE meter . Wel als ik de override manueel verander in de Homey App.
I have the app installed but in the status page no values are vissible, the car is charging but I can’t see the power output staus or time (all blank)
Do you have a current meter installed in the EVSE
Ik ben er druk mee bezig om een nieuwe app te maken heb even ruzie met python
om het stabiel te krijgen heb er wat langer tijd voor nodig dan gedacht
OK Rex
No current meter but does smart evse noT
Now the current true the chargingg?
This explaines my problem, No problem i was planning installing a current meter
No you need a modbus kwh meter smart evse sets the charge current to the EV
if you install a modbus kwh meter then the value will be displayed
