SG Smart app

i have some SG smart spots in my home, will the SG smart app come to Homey pro at some point? :smile:

Is this not possible? I have the SG smart at home, and its the only think stopping me to buy Homey pro… I have the SG smart in my Google Home. It it not possible to add the SG gateway to Homey pro?

Go to this Homey Pro Community App Requests - #322 by Kfk and like topic 108 with the sg smart app, so maybe there is a developer that can make it happen :grinning:

Just figured it out
-Install the “homekit controller” app.
-Go to add device, you will then find the SG bride
-insert pin code that is on the underside of the SG bridge (along with the QR code)

You now have the bridge, and can add devices to rooms as normal.
-Add device
-HomeKit
-HomeKit IP
-select device and add to room.

I have managed to add all my SG smart devices to Homey using this method, but I cant control any of them. Any tips?

You can try to restart the app. I have to do that from time to time. I’m not suer if it’s the app or the bridge, but something freezes sometimes.

I have a problem with the controller. It freeze several times every day. Due you have this problem?

Not several times a day, but several times a week maybe.

I have had none since I deactivated the timer schedules in the SG app a few days ago when I left for the holiday.

I have not found a way to make a flow that auto restarts the app when this occurs, but that could be an easy fix. Restart every hour might be another possibility if you have this problem that often.

I have 15 lights / sockets, and two switches. It would be interesting to know if more units make the problem appear more often, or if it it is a hub or app problem.

I dont think it possible to make a flow to restart the app😮‍💨
Have you see on the log file when the app is freeze?

I think you might have to use another trigger than when the app has crashed, but see my example under as a proof of concept.

I have not reviewed the log, so I’m not sure of the reason. I have not had any restarts since before christmas.
