Hi,
I’m using a Homey Pro 2026 with the official Samsung SmartThings app.
My Samsung washer is correctly connected to SmartThings:
SmartThings Location: Home
Room: Wasruimte
Device name: Wasmachine Wilderman
The device works fine in the SmartThings app on my phone.
On Homey I do the following:
Go to Devices → + → Samsung SmartThings
Select Washing Machine from the list of device types
Then one of two things happens:
Either I get a black screen and the wizard never continues,
Or I get a message:
“Er is tenminste één locatie benodigd om …”
and the only available button is “Weigeren” (Deny) – there is no way to select a location or accept anything.
What I have already tried:
Restarted the Samsung SmartThings app on Homey
Fully power‑cycled Homey Pro (unplugged for >10 minutes, then booted again)
Restarted my phone
Verified that my SmartThings account and location are correct and that the washer is visible and working in SmartThings
But the problem persists: I cannot get past the “at least one location required” message (with only “Deny”), and I cannot add the washer to Homey.
Could you please check if this is a known issue with the current Samsung SmartThings app on Homey Pro 2026 and SmartThings’ latest changes (locations/permissions), and if there is a workaround or fix?
