I’d like to know if anyone is experiencing unexpected side effects of the changes.

If not I’ll release a new ‘normal’ version shortly with all additional logging I built into this test version removed.

I sent a diagnostic report, which you can access, as two app crashes occurred after installation. However, this test update has been the only way to restore flows that use alarm status as an IFTTT trigger for the flow.

Your Homey is reporting a memory issue, I suggest you reboot your Homey.

When I download the test app and try to add anything, the app automatically rolls back to the original version, and the same problem occurs, of course. Very strange. So I haven’t been able to try the test versions (I tried reboot the homey but same problem)

I’ve never seen an app roll back to a previous version, that’s something Homey manages itself so I advice you to contact Athom.

I’ve just submitted version 2.14.0 for approval at Athom.
When Athom approves it it will be immediately published so let’s hope they’re fast :crossed_fingers:

Hi.
I noticed yesterday my flows weren’t working anymore. When I checked the app it was marked as ‘crashed’.
Just had some time now to do a few tests.

  • Restarting the app didn’t work, it crashes at startup.
  • Installed the 2.14.0 test version, it also crashed.
  • Power cycled my Homey (2016 model), I still crashed.

I sent a diagnostic report, can you see anything special?

Only test version 2.13.2 is available currently, 2.14.0 is still under review by Athom.
Strangest thing, your crashreport shows nothing.

It seems like it’s officially available now and I just checked, I have it installed.
Still crashes though, same the same as for @Bas

Same here - happened straight after update to 2.14.0 - No problems seen before.
Homey sent also the information that “Ring app stopped working. Developer is notified”.

Can everyone experiencing problems now give some more information please, so I can get a better indication where to start looking what fails, Same Here isn’t much to go on.

Please state Homey version, firmware version and which type of devices you’re using (Doorbell/Cameras or Alarm System) and if how many locations you’ve configured.
