Ring Doorbell, Camera and Alarm support for Homey

That’s unfortunate, and your problem doesn’t really sound app related as you’ve tried so many thing to fix this. But let’s give it a try.

  • Do you have any unusual network configuration, such as a Pi-hole or similar devices?
  • Have you tried all steps from this post: Ring Doorbell, Camera and Alarm support for Homey - #4 by DaneedeKruyff (I think you have, but just to be sure)
  • Do you use any (very) unusual characters in your password (characters such as ` ’ " § ± etc)
  • Which specific Doorbell do you have?
  • Do you have multiple locations in your Ring account?

Can you please try this:

  • Remove the Ring app
  • Restart Homey
  • Install the Ring app
  • Add your Doorbell to the app
  • Please check in the apps settings you’re properly authenticated (it will show an error when not)
  • Send a Diagnostics Report from the app
