I have a question regarding Homey Pro backups and restores, specifically about Matter over Thread devices.
I’ve read that Zigbee devices should automatically reconnect after restoring a backup, but I couldn’t find clear information about how this works with Matter (especially Matter over Thread).
As far as I understand, Matter uses encrypted communication and fabric certificates tied to the controller, which makes me wonder:
• Will Matter over Thread devices automatically reconnect after restoring a backup on the same Homey Pro?
• And what happens if I restore the backup to a new Homey Pro (for example if the old one fails)?
– Will Matter devices reconnect automatically
– or will they need to be re-paired?
I’m trying to understand how resilient Matter is in real-world failure/migration scenarios on Homey
