As someone who is only just starting looking into Homey and its options, something isn’t quite clear to me.
Will buying a Homey mini + a bridge (I’ve got a rather large concrete house, so that bridge will help network coverage) make that it’ll replace my Philips Hue bridge, my Aqara bridge and the Tado-bridge? Or will it just become the heart of my smart home using all the other bridges?
It depends on the protocol used. Mains powered Zigbee & z-wave devices have a built-in router functionality; when you build your mesh network, you can cover quite some space.
Only if you want to relay 433MHz, IR or Ble signals a bridge might be useful.
But Broadlink RM4 Pro also is, not sure about Ble though.
From what I’ve read Hue zigbee is very stable, Homey doesn’t seem to bw able to create a rock solid zigbee controller (maybe it’s better with the mini Pro, but that’s only to find out when it’s released.)
Also light effects are very minimal, or a lot of work to create, compared to Hue’s possibilities.
With tado-X, you don’t need a tado bridge, tado-X is Matter enabled;
but with tado-V3 a tado bridge is mandatory, for Homey to connect with the tado cloud.
About Aqara, I’d keep it when you own it already:
Most Aqara devices work via zigbee.
That requires the Aqara or Xiaomi Mi app. But do first take a look in the app store to check which devices are supported as zigbee devices: Aqara App for Homey | Homey
and
Xiaomi Mi Home App for Homey | Homey
Using an Aqara hub with Matter support, Aqara-supported devices become available as Matter devices, for which you don’t need a Homey app.

Other devices like the FP2 presence sensor and doorbell work via Wifi again, and then the [APP][Pro] HomeKit Controller for Homey (NL) app comes into play
Based on reliability, good functioning, OTA firmware updates and minimum trouble, I am switching back from only a Homey bridge, te several bridges. This because all trouble with all items connected to Homey and not working as it should
Right now
Philips HUE Bridge
Ikea Dirigera Bridge
Xiaomi gateway → to be replaced by Aqara Hub
But all and everything connected in flows within Homey, there the function of Homey is superb, IMO
