Red ring after update (February '24)

Update. It is defenitly the update causing my issue. I have to reset the network in one location only, after every update.

I also have a solid red ring since a few days.

But my Homey 2023 seems to be running fine. I see no strange things happening. Besides maybe having not much memory left (414.42 MB van 1.99 GB beschikbaar + 3.41 MB Swap).

I only had some network problems earlier this week, changing to a Unifi OS Server.

I have quite a big setup with around 180 devices installed. Backup is active, but i m obviously not looking to have a lot of troubles.

Is it wise to send a support ticket? Or change the adapter already?

If you have another adapter available, then your could of course always try that one. Otherwise reach out to Support | Homey so that they can investigate the random crashes.

Thanks for your reply.

I dont have a power adapter ready, I can buy one if I know which one is the correct one. This topic doenst help me sadly. [Info] USB Power Supplies and cables (for Homey Pro Early 2023) - #40 by Rrrr

I also submitted a ticket.

Because i’ll be on holiday soon, I would hate it that Homey is offline while being abroad.

The Homey Pro 2023 uses a 5.2V / 2.1A adapter. Mind the additional voltage compared to standard 5V adapters.

I am not sure what specific adapter would be an alternative; you might want to search the forum as several users of the early batches of the 2023 model had issues with the power adapter.

If the issue is really the power adapter then Athom would be able to provide a new one.

Support suggested leaving power off for 10 minutes and start Homey again.

That solved it for me. I did reboot earlier (2 times), but that didnt solve it.
