Problem connecting Doorbird via Doorbird app on Homey

Had the same issue and finally figured it out!

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Go to https://webadmin.doorbird.com/ and log in as your Doorbird admin
  • Navigate to Users
  • Select the user account you used to log in to Doorbird when you added the device to Homey
  • Under Permissions, enable API Operator and save
  • Go back to Homey and select your Doorbird device
  • Open Device Settings, and under Maintenance, click “Set URLs for notifications”

It should now work just fine.

Also, if you grant API access before adding the device, I think that will solve the 403 error during the initial setup.
