PM sensors recommendations

Hi,

Anyone using PM sensors?

The Ikea ones, new or old is out of stock in my area for pick up or shipping, any one using the Govee PM2.5 or Sonoff SAWF-07P sensors with Homey Pro.

From the off brands Qingping seem to be another good one, but pretty sure that one wont work with Homey.

The Sonoff is Matter over Wi-fi but not sure if it would pair.

I would like to get 3 to monitor the rooms and for them to connect Local to Homey no cloud.

Well also for the rooms I could get the Airgradient indoor but for the kitchen I would prefer a more modern looking sensor.

The Sonoff has WiFi, so that should work with the eWeLink app I guess.

That one likely isn’t supported, since it’s not listed here (only the thermometer is)

However, I don’t have experience with any of these devices myself.

ah the eWelink app seem to be cloud based.

well, I would order the sonoff and see if I can add it via Matter or Sonoff App.
I think there a better chance for it to works with Homey vs the Govee one.

Then I report back my findings in a few days.

I wouldn’t recommend using Matter, IMO it’s very unstable in general. I would recommend to use the cloud connection instead where possible.

well yes, this is not a super critical items used for home security so cloud connection should be fine in this case. I would still give it a try and see before trying it over the cloud.
