Re : Difficulty Setting Up Aqara E1 on Homey Pro
Back in September last year I purchased a Homey Pro to replace my Devolo Home Control Hub as Devolo were ceasing support on 31 December 2025 and as I have a very extensive Smart Home System it would be environmentally bad to scrap all of the equipment and it would have cost a lot of money to replace. Over a period of time everything was moved over to Homey Pro and I got the basic functions working. However, as you can appreciate over time devices fail to work so I recently purchased two Aqara E1 thermostatic radiator valves as replacements after checking that they would function on Homey Pro Apps. After the installation of one of the units, which was actually quite easy, I created flows only to find that the options for “Thermostat Mode” are “Off”, “Manual” & “Away” on my device. I have done various internet searches and have found that the options mentioned are “Off”, “Manual” & “Schedule”. The last option being the one that uses the flows. The flows I created are as follows; the time is 08:00 set the temperature at 17.5 degrees, the time is 10:00 set the temperature at 16.0 degrees, the time is 18:00 set the temperature at 17.5 degrees, the time is 23:59 set the temperature at 16.0 degrees. Obviously, as I do not have a “Schedule“ option, I am unable to use the flow to automate changes which defeats the object of the valve. The device is paired with the hub and I can alter things manually, but not with a flow. Any ideas or advice please.
