One blue led faulty homey 2019

I’ve come home to find my homey offline with one blue led, I’ve contacted support who said it’s faulty and asked for my invoice then radio silence when said i no longer have.
i see I’m not the first with this blue led problem - is this a case of bad luck buy another at £399 even though it looks like a common problem?
do athom not offer a repair service?

Don’t you have a bank transaction record of the shop you’ve bought it from?
They have to be able to determine the “sold” date at least (warranty). You don’t mention whether the device is still within the warranty period?
I don’t know the “rules” they apply, I’m just a customer here.

How many hours/days/weeks/months you refer to by “radio silence”?

They do have a repair service, did you ask for a quotation, in case the unit warranty has expired?
