None existing z-wave node

Wonder if anyone can answer what has happened here.
I have lost connection with a z-wave smart plug. Checking the developer page I can see that it has taken a weird, not to say impossible route across my z-wave network :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Node 161 does not exist. It has never existed. Highest number om my list of z-wave devices is 85.
So how can this happen?

P.S. I don’t need help getting the device reconnected. Just curious about what happened.

It’s a known phenomenon. I’ve also had it before, but no explanation. Please contact Athom support.

I have seen this behavour when there is devices with “bad” zwave functionality. For example I had several Telldus Plug-in Switch Mini causing this kind of problems. Now I have retired all of them and do not have issues anymore.
