Nimly child lock

Hello,

Im an Home Assistant user but would go over to Homey if Homey have the solution for my smart lock.

Now i have a nimly touch pro that i have not installed because the lock have an easy open function, with other words if you just pull down the handle the doors open. I have small children and dont want them to just run out to the road that have a lot of traffic. Nimly have a function that you can put the code + # and the lock is being locked(some sort of”away function”. I would like to have a more automated and easy fix, if possible make this “away function” always on as the always locked from outside function. Or have an easy code that works only from inside example 123#.

Belive that Homey have a better integration to Nimly because Nimly is marketing Homey as compatible for their devices.

I’m not sure how to read ‘set auto relock to….’

It’s not possible last time I emailed nimly about the same question.

If I recall it correctly there’s no functionality in the (zigbee in my case) chip for it.

Is there other simpler ways? Like a simple 3 digit code that works just from inside or just by pressing # ?

Not quite sure, I didn’t spend too much time on it, but code inside/outside would be the same.

Maybe by mounting the handles opposite way too make the handle turn upwards or a door sensor is a middle ground?

Upwards is not possible because the door wont open the handle will hit the frame. Regarding the sensor i dont understand how it could work, please explain

Not as a lock, more of a way to utilize any sort of light or speaker that door has been opened unexpectedly

Okey now i understand what you meant
