New to HomeyPro from Home Assistant - uptime question

Hi, I’m new to Homey Pro from Home Assistant, and I signed up for notifications of any cloud or platform downtime. I seem to get several emails a day regarding downtime somewhere or maintenance, or something like that.

Is this something that’s going to be disruptive? Am I going to barely notice it and I’m just seeing alerts for countries in which I’m not? Or am I going to start to discover the benefits of Home Assistant over Homey Pro?

The recent notifications you saw all were about various Homey Cloud datacenters and not significant for other Homey (Pro) models

I notice these notifications on this forum, it’s usually very quiet.
I deliberately did not sign up for these notifications: if something generic might be off for my Homey model, the forum will show notifications/user posts.

Possibly, but you signed up for these notifications yourself.
In 5 years time, there’s been one major malfunction with the Athom cloud servers, affecting Homey Pro’s as well.
A few times there were shorter (a few hours) issues, like a unreachable app store or such. These didn’t affect the functioning of my flows (=Homey automations).

Imho it’s not a good idea to ditch HA completely, both systems have their pros and cons.
It’s very well possible to “merge” both into a HAmey.

Thanks, Pete. At the moment, I’m leaving all Zigbee devices with HA, and Homey is gradually taking on some of my automations as I get familiar with it. I was using Nodered in HA and I like the similar feel with the flows in Homey.
