New home - and now ..?

Hi.

I should sudgest to investigate a brand from Sweden named Plejd.

It’s easy to install in old or new system.

It is based on Bluetooth and are use in small to large installations on power sockets and lamps plus switches.

You do not need any hub

Easy to install in Homey also.

I have it installed in two houses and been running on both Home Pro (Early 2019) and ( Early 2023)

Regards

Mats

Not sure what country you are from, but check Plejd.se, if it is available in your country, it is a no brainer, there isn’t any other lighting system that compares with it. Easy to install, electricians love it and the system i bullet proof, never fails and easy to use, stand alone system that works with Homey

A few months have passed and the renovation is progressing steadily. I sold my house including Hue, Somfy, Netatmo CO₂, and Zehnder ComfortControl, so I am setting everything up again from scratch in the new house.

At the moment, the configuration is as follows:

  • Sigenergy battery system with solar panels (I still need to choose an EV charger)

  • For lighting and switching: Shelly

  • Nibe S ground-source heat pump with Watts Vision zone control. I have not found an integration with Homey.

  • Ajax alarm system and cameras (also still looking for a Homey integration). Ajax is also used for garage door control.

  • Yale Linus L2 for the door locks

Because of the Watts Vision thermostats and Ajax, I considered starting with Home Assistant, but the system does not really appeal to me.

My current idea is the following:
To install a rack-mount PC running Proxmox, with Home Assistant on it for Watts and Ajax. In addition, I would run Homey on Proxmox and connect it to Home Assistant, so that the Watts and Ajax entities can be exposed to Homey.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention: we also have some Varin Tuya lights with an integrated fan.

Did you try this app as well?

I have no experience with Ajax alarm systems, but it seems that this app should work

i’m still trying this app, thanks.

What’s the point if I can’t set the alarm? Just see the status?

According to the App Store page, you can add the “Hub” device to arm and disarm the alarm

And how do I do it? Using this protocol, it won’t let me arm or disarm the alarm… can it be done via a proxy? And should I have a proxy server just for this?

I don’t know, I don’t own the device myself, you should ask the app developer
