Netatmo or Tado?

Since a week proud owner of Homey Bridge. We take the beta status for granted

I would like a smart thermostat and a smart TRV in the bedroom. I actually want to go for Netatmo or Tado. Both are also supported in the Bridge.

In my eyes Netatmo looks more solid and Tado looks nicer and more widespread. But is that true?

The comparisons I find all say that Tado is better because it supports modulating boilers, but Netatmo now does too.

I want to compare based on (in no particular order):

  • Energy saving options
  • Insight consumption
  • Sound/noise trv
  • Support
  • Integration with Homey
  • Battery consumption TRV
