MQTT Hub Auto Restart?

Hello everyone, I hope you have had a great week, and I hope your weekend is even better!

So, I have what I call a “Franken-Setup” - lots of different things working together in my Smart Home. Lots of things working together, and working surprisingly well!

My question today involves Homey Pro 2023, Home Assistant, and MQTT hub. I have noticed that from time to time, for whatever reason, a device in HA becomes unavailable because (apparently) MQTT Hub has stopped broadcasting that device to HA. Going into Homey and restarting MQTT Hub fixes this problem each and every time. It’s simple and not a big deal - but I do have to notice that it happened before I can fix it.

I was thinking that if I could just set MQTT Hub to auto restart every so often (say, once a day), that would solve this issue for me. Is this possible?

Thanks

Under System, there is a “then” card for restart an App, you can call that one’s a day.
Better is to try to solve the reason why the App is not working anymore.
Also you can try to move your MQTT-Broker to the HA system.

It’s a settings issue.
In my “Integrate Homey and Home Assistant tutorial” I shared a MQTT Hub custom settings screenshot, which eliminates the issue you describe
