Motion sensor and lux recomedations

Which motion and or motion sensor with lux do you recomend me?

I have teh ikea mygspray discussion in another post, and i am very fed up with ikea. i just want a motion sensor that works… instant! every day.

Maybe there is a device on this page that will do the job.

Philips hue motion sesnors.

Not cheap but reliable AND measure lux independend of motion.

I have no problems with Ikea Matter here, Myggspray is just not suitable for outdoors. It reacts to light changes. (Leafs, wind, sun.)

However, keep the distance to a router limited. One router close to Homey is also desirable. (Kajplats or something. )

can you say more about distance? how close are you taliking about? 2m 4m 6m og 12meters?

4 meters max, 6 meters disconnected but now I placed a Grillplatz nearby and problem fixed.

That is very helpful information!

I have a large house with 3 floors. So the homey is more than 6 meters away from the closest grillplats. And there are also walls and floors. So based on your experience, my solution would be more grillplats!

I have aI have a two-story house, 12 IKEA routers distributed across all floors, and a garage. The lamp close to Homey has more connections than Homey and therefore has better antennas, I think.

I connected all battery-powered devices on location to the Homey Tread network via Android. Over time, OTA updates became visible in the app. I updated these one by one.

It’s now stable for more than 2 months. (Homey is running last beta.)

You have 1 year to return them at Ikea; I still have all the boxes. :joy:

Senosr is now working as excpected, teh sulution was buying more Grilplats power sockets. it seems like the ikea motion senosr needs an acual mesh network to function. and by thar i mean that it needs conection to more than one extenderss. and each extenders needs to have sevreal wayss of coinecting to homey, compared to just one line of chain conected devices.
