Motion and luminance sensor

ok I’m trying to follow the video, but once I have selected a card, I don’t see any “tag” displaid, and it seems tag is what I need to add a condition.
Any idea what could be the issue?
Not sure if Tag are created by the person who has created the car, or if should come from the device directly.

Which card did you select? If you pick, for example, the Logic “Number is less then Number” card, and select the first Number placeholder, you should get a list of tags:

ok thanks so much. The video shows a totally different layout and I got lost, I guess it’s an older version.
I was looking for the Tag as being linked to my card “when motion is detected”, but I understand now there is a card in the category “logic” which will determine if my value is below my target, and only then (once I have selected that card, which is defined by homey I guess) I can see the Tag indeed.
I now see the list of variables, including the one for luminance, coming from my motion sensor!

You can try Ikea sensors, cheap and works with batteries

ok just received the Ikea Vallhorn sensor.
It does the job perfectly: motion and luminance are handled separately and can be accessed directly for any flow, all for just 10 €, which is fantastic value for money. It is even possible to set the time for which the alarm motion is triggered (after which it goes back off).

EDIT: i just installed it on a 3 meter high ceiling, and the lack of sensitivity is a show stopper for me: it requires me to wave my arms for it to detect any movement, even when walking underneath it directly.
I’ll keep it as a ligh sensor, but the motion sensor is useless for me

Will it be my choise for most situations where I need both, not really sure, here is why;

  • it’s big 7 x7 x 5 (thick becuse it uses 2 AAA betteries, unusual for Zigbee devices), and Personnally I find it uggly (because it’s really thick and stands out)

I tend to prefer using 2 sensors:

  • the SONOFF SNZB-03 (found for 8€ on Aliexpress. Very small for a motion senr (4 x 3 x 4)
  • the aqara light sensor T1 (found for 18€ on Aliexpress, i could not find it in France)
    The light sensor can be hiden easily, so it leaves you only with the moition sensor visible
