Missing scope homey_local_login

Hi together,

i have a problem with creating a local user.
If i want to add myself as a local user, i get this error:

i have tried nearly anything, disabling adguard on my pi, disable firewall, completely shutting it down, resetting my router configurations in ipv4 settings and dhcp.
Nothing helped, still error.

Can somebody help me? Thanks

Have you tried logging out of the Homey Web App and logging back in again? Your session might have been created before the feature existed in Homey.

Yes, multiple times, including ipconfig /release, /renew and flushdns. I separated the homey from the internet for roundabout 15 min, same error

The network doesn’t matter here, it’s an issue with your session on the Homey. Have you tried logging in in a incognito tab? Also, what is your Homey firmware version?

Yes, i tried incognito tab.
Firmware is just updated yesterday, since i activated it yesterday for the first time.

After restarting router and homey mutiple times it cannot connect to the network right now, so i cannot tell the firmware version but as said its the latest

That’s strange, it should work with your account. You should contact Athom support:

13.1.1 thats the firmware

another question: i also bought the ethernet adapter but it always connects only to wlan. why?

i will contact the support, thanks

Also, why do you need the local login when you can also use the regular Homey Web App?

thanks for the image, my bad xD that helped

because i wanted a full local installation without using any cloud. in the near future im thinking of putting my pi / homey into a secured, separated network so this way of installation would help to do that

I had the same problem when I got my Homey pro 2 years ago. The issue was caused by a bad power/data cable.

Try a different cable, as well as a different power adapter if you have one.

Homey support was very helpful and sent me a free replacement cable.

The web app would only be needed for managing the Homey, Flows, etc. run fully local on the Homey (unless the Flow card needs a cloud service).

I also have my Homey in a separate VLAN, but that doesn’t require local access. In fact, my Homey Pro 2019 doesn’t even support local access in the first place.

Also, have you tried to invite another user in your Homey and create a local login for that other user? You can create a Homey account with any email, you don’t need to verify your email to create a Homey account. Afterwards, you can try to create a local account for that user.

Yes, i tried another account too, same error.

In addition if i want to connect a Tapo P100M Power Adapter to the homey via the Web-App i get an error too:

{“requestId”:“ab116691-efc1-4681-b563-2a5de470b35f”,“errMessage”:“too many request”,“errCode”:-10104}

this one appears in a window that opens, alternativ i get this error:

Yes, that Tapo issue is a known issue, there are many topics about that already. I think it’s an issue on TP-Link’s side.

i tried that one but it didnt help, but thanks

AFAIK that’s not possible with Homey Pro. It needs internet to fetch the time at boot f.i.
