Thanks for sharing all the (new) insights. Since I cannot change the behavior of the Hue (motion) light sensor, I think its best to buy a dedicated light sensor! It would have been nice if the Hue sensor actually accepted changes in the setting ( to make it faster polling ). Great help! Jack.

@johan_bendz , is there a possibility to increase the polling interval of the Hue Motion Sensor? The settings „Min./Max report interval for lux“ seems not to work correctly. Hmm, looks like the motion sensor does indeed report to Homey according to the value set but the sensor itself does not update the value more often then ever 5 minutes. I’ll have a look at it. May I suggest changing to the occupancy driver instead. It works flawless for me.

You have to delete and add the sensor again and choose “Occupancy Sensor”. [IMG_1999]

This works great. One thing, the battery status is no longer available in this setup

Seems whatever device I select it picks up that it’s an outdoor sensor
