Scenario: A bucket underneath the outside aircondition unit collects condensation-water. I live in a part of the world where this water becomes ice during winter.
Goal: Get notified when the bucket nears its capacity so I can empty it before it spills.
What would be a good solution here? Been thinking on magnetic floats, based on a door/window sensor, but I guess that would fail during winter, because, ice. Also thought about weight cells; anyone got experience with an easy setup to homey and advice og components? The solution should be battery-based.
You can use this with the phone app Tuya Smart, combined with the Homey app Tuya Cloud community, by using the workaround called “RAW Commands”.
