Matter stopped (Aqara and IKEA)

Hi,

All of a sudden al matter devices in homey stopped working, except for the hue bridge. Both Aqara and ikea hub don’t work in homey. They do work in apple HomeKit (which is the primary controller). Anyone else experiencing the same or knows how to fix this without a reset?

I have the same issue but then with Hue matter nodes… I can control my lights and sensors via hue, but homey cant find them anymore

possibly related to the latest homey pro update where some matter changes were pushed?

On my homey this version of the firmware was installed tonight (04:30).

Though I got some matter devices myself but they still work.

yes it is the last update for homey that "Adds functionality to mark a Matter device as unavailable when it is offline#. The Problem is, now all the Matter Device are mark offline, but is normally working. It seems like, that is a timelimit after the devices has reportet last status that is to short. I’ve kontaktet support and hope they will show whats happend there.

For me its not just matter, my flows with Ring and Roborock devices also dont work anymore.
Restarted routers and Homey, no solution so far!

So what would be the best solution for now? I am owning a Homey Pro Early 2023

  1. Wait for another update?
  2. Remove all my broken hue matter connections (30 devices). I rather not do this because i have to rebuild all my flows, or am i wrong?
  3. Remove all the matter connections and reconnect them via the HUE app in homey.
  4. Go to a backup without the latest update of Homey?

Just got a mail form athom and we managed to fix it for now (still a bug in the software). There was one matter device that didn’t respond and blocked all other matter devices. By removing the one device and a reboot everything started to work. Athom could indicate which device caused the problem.

I’ve checked the diagnostics report from your Homey and there are a couple of Matter devices which have a MatterNodeLeft notification. This means that these devices have the Matter network from your Hue Bridge. Homey still wants to receive data from these devices, but this is impossible. A bug in our firmware makes all Matter devices unavailable when this happens. We will fix this a.s.a.p., of course.

Could you please remove the following devices from Homey?
Spot keuken 1
Spot keuken 2
Spot keuken 3
Spot keuken 4
Spot keuken 5

These lights were malfunctioning before all matter devices stopped. My issue is fixed by removing these lights.

I have the same issue since Homey update 12.4.9. The Aqara app would make a connection (show all the devices) then fail after a minute. I did find three Aqara devices not responding in Homey and Aqara. After removing these three everything is now connecting. Thanks for the information in this string. Looking forward to the bug being fixed.

I had the same issue yesterday, most of my aqara sensors stopped working, which are a lot. This cost me 3 hours to fix. Re-adding the devices and redoing my flows was a nightmare.

Same issues here… so Athoms solution: delete and readd device? Pushing me more and more towards HA…

I also has this problem. It seems that if i do an Thread autentisering in settings for network stuff will go online again. Now i’m on the latest beta firmware. So let’s se if things getting better.
