Homey hue and aqara connect with matter

I did have a hue bridge and a aqara hub connected to homey through matter. 8 days ago all devices connected to the hue bridge stopped talking to homey. Is there a problem with having more than 1 bridge/hub connected to homey through matter at the same time? I connected the end devices from hue bridge directly to homey. But here i loose contact with some devices all the time.. when i used hue bridge in matter all worked fine. Should i try once more and connect hue bridge to homey with matter??

Second question: when i add a new device on the aqara hub or hue bridge. Are those device “popping up” at Homey automatikly? (Hue and aqara hub are connected with matter)

I use Hue over Matter with my HP23. I can confirm that new devices on the Hue hub will sync and “pop up” automagically

I have a seen sort of the same symptoms here. I have close to 40 Hue devices mostly 230V devices. I have one motion that get the state unsubscribed from device. However on the Hue hub everythins works great. I suspect a bug either at HP end or Hue. I have tried several times, Hue hub on ethernet.

Im realy not shure what happend to my system. but now i have the Hue hub and the Aqara hud connected to Homey with matter again. when i posted the first post i lost the Hue hub.
I see now that not all things i connect to the aqara hub, are comming on to the homey, i guess there is a limit. (like the doorbell G4). so i had to buy a aqara smart plug. so when something is trigger on the doorbell, i can turn on or off the smart plug in the aqara hub. and the smart plug is then seen by the homey, and react acorendly. a little workaroung.

You are correct. I do not remember this version of the matter standard that on the hue hub and homey. The matter standard kinda lags behind and while they are adding support for other classes as energy monitoring, robot vacuums etc there are still some classes that feel like basic missing. Like mmw sensor, doorbells etc. we just have to wait for matter updates for both homey and other hubs.
I have the same “issue” with ikea sensor where their water leak sensor are not supported by matter and will not work via matter yet via the bridge. I had issues with battery life with ikea devices used directly to HP so trying to use the ikea hub via matter.

i do see that there are also some things like the cube. that arent adding to homey through hub and matter. also with the motion sensors i dondt have the lux parameters with me through the hub and matter. just some small things. i have some roborock vacuums, that i hade to work through google home. and we have the only one that arent supportet by roborock app. so have to use xiaomi home app :frowning:

For now it is just to wait it out. I suspect Homey is doing an effort to update to the newest Matter standard. However it is also on the sensor suppliers to get devices certified. There are so many devices, i sideload HA to get my heatpump into Homey via MQTT to ensure i get everything in one place and i suspect i will continue to it for years to come.
