I wonder if interference can be part of the issues here.
Did you tune the channels?
Wifi 2.4GHz / Bluetooth / zigbee / microwave are all operating in the same band.
And Thread shares the hardware with zigbee (a.k.a. Multiprotocol), it’s not recommended to use (many) devices of both protocols at once (in case you do).
