Link Homey Pro to two HomeKits

I just got the Homey and I realize that when enabling the HomeKit experiment, it can only be linked to one HomeKit. I would like my partner to also have access to all the devices from his phone, but that doesn’t seem possible.

Is there a workaround to link one Homey to two different HomeKits? Is it in the pipeline? It’s quite an important feature for me.

You typically set up a Home on one device, then invite another person to it:

Hi @robertklep, that option is not available to me since I don’t have an Apple TV or HomePod. I was expecting the Homey to allow me to link to two different HomeKit “Homes”, instead of having to share the same home, since that would require me to have yet another box.

I’m fairly sure it’s a limitation of the HomeKit protocol to only be able to pair a bridge with one device if you don’t have a Home hub.

That’s one that it could work around by creating two different HomeKit virtual bridge devices

In my experience, running multiple bridges on the same IP address can cause issues, but if you want to get it working with Homey, the only way to do so is also installing the HomeKitty app.

But neither HomeKitty nor the HomeKit experiment will support multiple bridges, and for neither it’s in the pipeline.
