Lights on with motion and button press

I have my hue lights setup so with motion in a certain room they activate at a different brightness depending on what time of day it is.

At midnight until 4am I only have them come on a a 10% brightness as a night light. All lights are motion activated, I’ve added a physical switch to my kitchen lights which I have a flow to turn the lights on at a 100% brightness but once I activate the motion sensor they dim back down to the 10%. What’s the best way of setting a flow to stop the lights activating with motion once the buttons pressed?

Thanks

Thank you Rogier

The motion sensor still triggers because it doesn’t know the button was pressed. Try setting a condition in your flow that checks if the button was used; this way, motion won’t change the light if the button has already turned it on.

I had the exact same issues as you and I just created an advanced tutorial that might solve your problems as well. By using a Virtual Motion Trigger, you can simply disable the autonomous flow by disabling the Virtual Motion Trigger before you dim the lights to its desired Brightness. I Also use a circadian zone for all my lights. I use its night mode and the manual mode to keep dimming autonomously but with different values for different times of the day as well.

This is how I completely tied it into my home together with presence:

Thankyou, will have a look.
