Kasa KS205 (Matter Light Switch)

I have a Homey Pro and am trying to connect the Kasa KS205 to the Pro via Matter.

Long story short it is not working. I go to add device. Select Matter. Scan the code and it does not find it.

Homey Pro also gives the option to connect via iOS. I tried this and it worked for one switch but not the other.

Any thoughts. Also have no clue what adding via iOS is doing. It shows up as a light bulb.

EDIT - Got both switched connected via iOS, but still lost as to why that worked but not directly via Homey.

Does the Kasa app allow for Matter devices to be shared?

A bit like how it works with Tado devices?

During the pairing process Homey Pro must be connected to WiFi only!
So if you use an Ethernet Adapter, the best is to disconnect it before pairing.

I don’t use Tado devices, but I guess this must be done, because the Tado devices are connected to the Tado bridge. Therefor you have to allow the Tado devices via the bridge to be able to connect via Matter.
But that is only a guess.

Thanks. The Homey Pro was only connected to wifi during the attempted setup.

So was not sure if there are certain matter devices that would not work with Homey.
