Apparently got an update last night and it’s now on 13.2.0 and all matter devices now sports a fashionable red triangle.
I have plenty of Google Home devices also acting a border routers but since they also have connection issues they drag everything else with them.
I’ve read about a 13.2.0.rc2 update but I’m guessing that’s the precursor to the 13.2.0 Stable I have now?
How do I get the Google homes to talk to Homey again so my matter devices start working?
Okay but they’re on the same VLAN and I’m also got mDNS setup to speak over the different VLANS just because..
And it’s been working fine for a month or more and after a reboot it just disconnected..
Do you know if there’s any logs that would pick up when they aren’t talking to each other that I can analyse the sh!t out of.
Edit:
Check the changelog and Rc2 does mention matter so I’m guessing they found something
v13.2.0-rc.2 Core Updated translations. Matter Fixed an issue that could cause Matter to stop working.
Oddly enough it seems like rc5 was released after 13.2.0?
v13.2.0-rc.5 CoreUpdates translations. ZigbeeAdds endpoint for viewing source route table. Z-WaveVarious bug fixes for regressions introduced in v13.2.0.
I’m having serious stability issues with 20 Shelly Gen4 devices (1 Gen4, 1 Mini Gen4 and 2PM Gen4) connected to Homey Pro via Matter.
All devices were updated to the latest firmware and initially paired successfully using the Matter numeric codes manually. Everything worked correctly for several hours.
The next morning, all devices appeared offline simultaneously in Homey with “device not responding/network issue” errors.
Additional details:
Same issue on all 20 devices
Alexa is also unable to discover them
Disabling/enabling Matter sometimes removes the Matter pairing code completely from the Shelly app
Devices remain online and accessible in the Shelly app
Problem seems related specifically to Matter connectivity/session stability
Has anyone experienced similar issues with Shelly Gen4 + Homey Pro + Matter?
Any stable workaround or recommended setup?
Thank you. For other Noobs: Had the same Matter problem with 13.2.0, switched on “Experimental updates” in the Dev Tools, checked for updates in the app, and it installed 13.2.1.rc4, which promptly fixed the problem.
