I have bought a Homey pro 2026 which installs firmware version 13.0.0
Already a failure when re-starting and after that I keep loosing the connection.
Are there any known issues with this ?
Are you on a WiFi or Ethernet connection? Do you have a Mesh WiFi network?
I am on Wifi
Do you have a Mesh WiFi network? If you do, Homey might “hop” between mesh nodes. Make sure you lock Homey to a specific node in your mesh WiFi system’s mobile app.
I don’t have a Mesh Wifi network but after I posted the question I used the reset option to set to factory settings and it appears to be stable now so ![]()
Hi all,
I have a Homey Pro 2026 running firmware 13.0.0 and am experiencing severe Thread/Matter instability.
Setup:
- Homey Pro 2026 (firmware 13.0.0)
- 11 IKEA KAJPLATS E27 Matter/Thread bulbs
- 2x Eve Energy as Thread Router nodes
- 4x Aqara FP300 presence sensors (Thread End Devices)
Symptoms:
- Multiple devices show warning triangles (unavailable) after every restart
- Devices come back online briefly after a restart, then drop off again within minutes
- The entire Thread mesh loses connection simultaneously
- After restart, “Too Many Requests” error appears in the app
- Problem persists regardless of number of Thread Router nodes
Steps already tried:
- Multiple hard restarts (unplugging power)
- Thread network repair
- Added a second Eve Energy as redundant Router node
- Verified all devices have constant power supply
The mesh topology is solid (max 6m distances, multiple router nodes), so this does not appear to be a network coverage issue. The instability seems to be on the Homey Pro side.
Is anyone else experiencing this with firmware 13.0.0? Any known fixes or workarounds?
Thanks
Hi same Matter problems from 13.0.0. I have the 2023 version. Until fw 13 there wasn’t this kind of problem
