Hey everyone,

I’m new to this forum and happy to be here!

I recently set up a Google Streamer and have been using the Chromecast app to control it. The app offers many useful features, but unfortunately, it doesn’t cover everything I need. To fill the gaps, I’m also using the Android TV app.

During my initial tests, I noticed that both apps work in parallel only for a short time. After a while, the device becomes unreachable in one of the two apps, and I get an error message.

Has anyone experienced similar issues when controlling a device with two apps? Any ideas on how to keep both apps connected without interference?

And does the app restart resolve that issue ? If so, it’s general issue with Chromecast devices and I keep basically restarting Chromecast app based on the errors they got, eg.
