iPhone app goes to white screen

Started yesterday (I think) - after the homey logo fades away, I only get at fully white screen.

Homey is working and I also get notifications sent to the phone.

Have rebooted the phone with no change in behavior.

I’m feeling a bit hesitant in removing and installing the app again, not sure what I may lose.
(And also I am not near the Homey at the moment)

Anyone had this/solved this?

Additional information, it’s a 6s running 12.1.4

(I will give an OS-upgrade a go later on when I’m on a network.)

Upgrading to latest OS did not change anything.

But I dared remove and reinstall app, so now I’m back.

Here are two ways you can try:

  1. Delete and reinstall the app, if this is a matter of the app itself;
  2. Use iTunes or an alternative tool like TunesKit iOS System Recovery to restore your iPhone, if the first way does not work.
