Hello,
I have an aircondition from Fujitsu that I have been controlling from Fibaro Homecenter 2 for several years via IntesisBox FJ-RC-WMP-1.
Now I have just installed the HP 2023, and are very happy!
But I can not find any app for the aircondition.
I found an App (Aircondwithme) that also are using the WMP-API (Ascii), but when I try to add my device I get an error…maybe there is just a check of the response from the Intesisbox-interface?
Anyone that know if this app can be modified to also accept FJ-RC-WMP-1?
Best regards
Kai
Hi Kai and welcome,
Try to see if Homey can control your air conditioner directly via infrared. Maybe it works with the code.
Otherwise, buy a Switchbot Hub for a few euros. It can learn the commands of your original remote control and is compatible with Homey.
Thanks for quick answer.
My aircondition Fujitsu ARY36UUAN does only support wired remote.
So I have to get the Intesisbox interface work…
Do you still have a Raspberry lying around?
Home Assistant offers an integration:
Since Home Assistant and Homey can communicate with each other, HA Community App should be able to provide the integration via Homey.
Not anymore.
Then I will have to power up my Fibaro Homecenter 2 again…
Intesis have made drivers for many platforms, but not Homey…
Can the Fibaro Home Center receive WebHooks? If so, Homey can send control commands via this path.
Alternatively, Switchbots can press buttons on your wired remote control.
Yes, Fibaro can receive WebHooks, so that can be an alternative until I get it to work from the Homey…I have asked Intesis if they can make a driver for Homey Pro.
